What are your goals?
Whether you are just beginning to run, looking to get into great shape, or are training for your next PR, working with Coach Erica provides you with all of the instruction, accountability and motivation necessary to reach your goals.
Coach Erica will provide education, support and a fully customized training plan. You will talk with your coach on a regular basis, so she can update your training plan according to your progress and schedule.
Coach Erica specializes in distance running, but has experience from the 100-meter to the marathon and even ultras!

Coach Erica’s Athletic Background
Erica, inspired by her father who was a successful marathoner, winning the Smoky Mountain Marathon in 1982, knew she was destined to run. She couldn’t wait until middle school, when she was able to compete on a team.
Erica continued to compete in High School, before being recruited to run at the collegiate level for the University of Central Florida’s NCAA Division I Cross Country and Track teams, where she was part of the Conference USA Championship winning team for the first time in school history! Erica continued to run after college, shifting from the 5000m to longer distance events. In time, Erica established herself as one of the top female runners in the state of Florida.
Erica ran her first marathon one year after college and ended up with a second place finish and respectable time of 3:05. Erica competed in the Boston Marathon from (2012-2014) with a PR of 2:56.
Erica realized at the end of 2014 that she wanted to be more competitive and began training for the marathon with consistent training and coaching.
Erica smashed her PR by almost 9 minutes with a 2:47 at the Grandma's Marathon in June 2015. She then went on to become the 2017 Napa Valley Marathon champion, running 2:48:48 in a cold rain and hailstorm.
Erica has competed in the elite fields of both the California International Marathon (CIM) in 2015 and the Peachtree 10k in Atlanta, among others. At the 2017 Chicago Marathon, she ran a 2:45:24 which was 2 minutes and 34 seconds faster than her previous personal record and 24 seconds closer to Olympic Trials Qualifying (2:45:00).
Erica recently achieved one of her ultimate athletic goals on January 20, 2019 and qualified for the 2020 US Olympic Trials at the Houston marathon with a time of 2:41:54.
Her next goal is to set a Personal Record and break 2:40:00 in the Marathon at the Olympic Trials in Atlanta in February 2020!
Erica’s Career Accomplishments
Erica worked in the corporate world in Retail Management and Recruiting until she decided to follow her true passion for the sport of running and become a Coach.
Erica began as a High School Assistant Track Coach, then Head Cross Country and Track and Field Coach. Erica has been instrumental in growth and development of the Track and Cross Country programs at the schools she has coached. Erica has developed students from beginners to State-caliber student-athletes, some of whom went on to compete in college at the NCAA Division I and II levels.
As a Certified Personal Trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), Erica also trains and teaches group bootcamp classes. Erica specializes in creating customized strength plans. High Intensity Interval (HIIT) workouts are one her favorites! HIIT improves athletic capacity and condition as well as improves glucose metabolism, essentially burning the most fat in a short amount of time.
Erica loves the sport almost as much as she loves helping others get to the next level and achieve their goals! Erica currently coaches athletes in distances ranging from the 5K to the marathon, ultra marathons and the running/strength part of triathlons. Erica has helped numerous athletes achieve Boston Qualifying times, as well as Personal Records!
